Itinerary
West Bank, where the ancient Egyptians buried their pharaohs. Here, you'll explore the Valley of the Kings, entering three royal tombs (such as those of Tutankhamun, Ramses VI, or Seti I) to witness the vivid hieroglyphs and burial chambers. Next, visit the breathtaking Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a terraced marvel carved into the cliffs at Deir el-Bahari. The West Bank tour concludes at the towering Colossi of Memnon, the massive stone guardians of Amenhotep III's vanished temple.
After lunch at a local restaurant, will cross back to the East Bank to explore the living city of ancient Thebes. Your first stop is the immense Karnak Temple Complex, where you'll walk through the Great Hypostyle Hall with its 134 colossal columns and discover obelisks, sanctuaries, and sacred lakes. Finally, visit the elegant Luxor Temple, beautifully situated on the Nile Corniche, where you can see Roman frescoes layered atop pharaonic structures and the famous Avenue of Sphinxes. Your guide will provide continuous insights before returning you to your accommodation by late afternoon, having experienced the complete essence of ancient Thebes.
