Itinerary
Board your Lake Nasser cruise in Abu Simbel and enjoy a welcome lunch on board as you settle into your floating hotel. In the afternoon, we journey to the crown jewel of the Nile: the Abu Simbel Temples. Marvel at the colossal grandeur of Ramses II's sun temple and the elegant Temple of Queen Nefertari, both miraculously relocated to their current site. This visit offers a profound encounter with ancient Egyptian power and artistry.
Return to your cruise for afternoon tea. As evening falls, you have the optional tour to witness the magnificent Sound and Light Show at Abu Simbel, a dramatic spectacle that brings the pharaohs' legacy to life against the desert night sky.
The day concludes with a delicious dinner on board, with your ship moored for a tranquil overnight stay in the shadow of these timeless monuments.
Overnight on-board Lake Nasser Cruise
Your cruise sails towards the ancient citadel of Kasr Ibrim. As we approach, take in the dramatic view from the sundeck—this former strategic fortress is now an island archaeological site, viewable only for photographs from the water.
We then disembark to explore a remarkable cluster of pharaonic sites. Visit the Temples of Amada and Derr, two of the Nile's oldest and most historically significant structures, painstakingly relocated to save them from the rising waters. The tour continues to the intimate and beautifully decorated Tomb of Pennut, offering a glimpse into the life of a high-ranking official.
Back on board, we sail towards Wadi El Seboua as the desert landscape unfolds around you. In the evening, immerse yourself in local traditions with a vibrant Nubian Show performed by our staff, a celebration of music and dance under the stars. Your ship remains moored overnight at Wadi El Seboua, surrounded by the serene silence of the desert.

The day begins with a visit to the striking Wadi El Seboua (Valley of the Lions), a temple complex dedicated to Ramses II. Walk through the avenue of sphinxes and explore this unique site, which beautifully blends Egyptian and Nubian architectural styles, nestled dramatically in the desert landscape.

After breakfast, you will visit Kalabsha Temple, a magnificent Nubian monument situated on the shores of Lake Nasser. Following this final historical exploration, you will check out and disembark from your cruise, marking the conclusion of your Lake Nasser voyage.

• Prices are based on a minimum of two persons traveling together. A single supplement fee will apply for individual travelers.

Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a final confirmation email containing your detailed itinerary and a required travel voucher for your journey.
Red Rose Travel offers a full waiver of its cancellation fees in cases of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters like volcanoes, earthquakes, or other events beyond our guests' control.
For cancellations due to personal or business reasons:
- Any cancellation 7 Days prior to the arrival will be subject to 50% cancellation fee unless otherwise advised
- All no show will be subject to 100% based on confirmed rate unless otherwise advised
