Pick up from your hotel in Luxor to enjoy an excursion in the East bank of Luxor. You’ll see two of the most impressive temples in Upper Egypt Karnak and Luxor, Temples. Start your day with a visit to the KarnakTemples, the greatest example of worship in history as It was constructed from the beginning of the Old Kingdom to the Graeco Roman Kingdom and was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. On entering the Temples of Karnak you will see each legacy left by the various pharaohs as the complex grew even larger. The deeper you go into the complex, the further back in time you will travel, with the oldest ruins dating back over 4,000 years. Continue to Luxor Temple which was once joined to the Temples of Karnak by a two-kilometer long Avenue of Sphinx, a portion of which marks the entrance to the temple. It was built by Amunhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty.King Ramses II was the most famous king in the 19th Dynasty. He ruled Egypt for about 67 years. Luxor Temple has survived Nile floods, foreign invasion and thousands of years exposed to the elements. This is a private tour allowing you to determine the amount of time spent at each of the temples during the tour and you will have additional free time to explore at leisure. PLP13 December 2022Verified INOLVIDABLE Es una experiencia maravillosa. Nos organizó el viaje All tour viajes (en Vigo) y lo primero dar las gracias a Pablo por su fantástica atención y amabilidad. Lo había intentado con el Corte Inglés y pésima atención. El mayorista fue Catai, y todo salió genial. La época es la mejor, clima perfecto. Crucero de 4 días Luxor- Aswan, motonave Nile Plaza (de Presidential Nile cruises) correcta, creo que tiene que haber naves mejores pero es difícil que los intermediarios en Egipto atiendan tus peticiones (lo entenderéis cuándo les conozcáis). También las hay pésimas. ojo!!. Eso sí, la atención por parte de toda la tripulación fue excelente y el viaje por el Nilo es increíble. Nuestro guía, Walid, maravilloso, sólo para nosotros (4 personas) en todas las visitas (excepto Abu Simbel), un lujazo. Sólo una recomendación: NO hagáis el viaje a Abu Simbel en bus. Es un horror, te levantan a la una y media de la madrugada, solamente salir de Aswan es una hora , más cuatro de viaje, con un conductor que ,en nuestro caso, iba mirando el móvil mientras conducía (yo viajaba justo detrás de él) lo cual comunicamos al guía inmediatamente. En fin, un infierno de viaje para llegar a un sitio, maravilloso sí, pero tan lleno de gente que parece un parque temático, con sólo una hora y poco de visita y de nuevo al bus otras cinco horas. En fin, a pesar de la belleza de Abu Simbel, tal cómo está organizada esta excursión, no merece la pena, es peligrosa y dura. En Cairo nos alojamos en el Marriott, una fantástica decisión. Precioso hotel, con muchos restaurantes y un paseo central lleno de terrazas para tomarte lo que quieras y descansar. Un acierto ya que además puedes salir a dar un paseo hasta la Plaza Tahrir andando . También queda a 5 min andandando el restaurante Abou El Sid, de lo mejor para probar la comida egipcia sin eqivocarte (recomiendo el Baba ghanoush, el koshari y el kofta, deliciosos). No busques en Cairo una zona de lujo, tiendas, tarrazas ... al estilo europeo, no la hay. Los habitantes acaudalados viven en urbanizaciones privadas en zonas algo alejadas del centro, y aquí, la mejor zona es Zamalek, que es donde se ubica el Marriott y otros hoteles de lujo. Es una ciudad caótica, ruidosa, rota y no limpia, pero tiene algo que te atrapa y te cautiva, merece mucho la pena. Oliver15 November 2022Verified Egipto con Mapa Tours Abu Simbel, Ashuan i Luxor son impresionantes. El Cairo es feo y caótico, pero hay que ir para ver las Pirámides, o sea un día y no más. Fui con un viaje organizado por Mapa Tours y fue un desastre de organización: visitas a Pirámides, templos y Valle de los Reyes acortadas para llevarnos a comercios a escuchas auténticos rollos para comprar sus productos: perfumes, jarrones y papiros. Es impresentable que te quiten tiempo en las visitas a esos monumentos, que son espectaculares, para tener sesiones de “manteros” . La comida que nos ofrecieron, bufette, bastante regular y muy repetitiva: ensaladas, pollo, arroz y, si hay suerte, un poco de pescado insípido. Uno de los días nos cambiaron el almuerzo del barco por un picnic, horrible, que tuvimos que tomar en el autobús en pleno trayecto, como pollos en una granja.
